We got a little rain here on Sunday. According to the local news, McHenry reported 3.99 inches of precipitation, the most of any town in the Chicagoland area. Glub. Fortunately my home's on a hill with excellent drainage. Except for the mailbox, which looked like an island for a few hours until the water dried up. :)
